The Beem Marketplace

How it works

For Providers

Step 1

Create your account

The registration of Providers, i.e. users offering any type of energy Service, is carried out as legal entities, srequires confirmation by the Platform Administrator. Types of users supported by the Offer side may include Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), Financiers and Private Professionals. Users in "Financiers" category can be either financial institutions or any form of companies (including energy suppliers). In such case, the Service provided is Financing (funding in the form of grants or loans) and it becomes available separately. However, it cannot be received as a standalone Service from the Platform as it has to be combined with specific energy saving Services either based on criteria set by the Provider of the financial service(s) or by the Platform according to the overall investment needs. Private Professionals are defined as those “entities” who cannot cover Financing Service of the projects they undertake. Upon registration, Providers are required to disclose the Services that they provide as well as the locations/ regions in which they are active. Each Provider, upon registration, is required to declare: - Up to six (6) possible locations of activity if it is an Energy Service Company (ESCOs), while there is no restriction on the type of services provided. - Up to three (3) possible locations of activity if it is a private supplier/contractor, while there is no limitation on the number type of services provided - Unlimited locations if it is a Financier, while the type of service provided is exclusively Energy Efficiency Financing (through grant or loan).

Step 2

Complete the Provider Module

Creation of offers is achieved through the "Provider Module” where the necessary technical, qualitative and economic information is submitted through ready-made templates. The Provider may create either “Single” or “Bundled Offers” while it is also possible to create multiple Offers for different locations and Services. The requirement of a “Targeted Budget” is also an additional option provided through the Provider Module. If such requirement is selected, the Provider needs to indicate for each Service included in the Offer, the budget that is required to be covered in-advance (“Targeted Budget”) by Consumers’ matching requests before the former is committed to initiate project implementation, as well as the maximum budget “Maximum Budget Limit” that once fulfilled, the matching of new consumer requests gets automatically deactivated. A Provider may also respond directly to Requests matching declared location and Services.

Step 3

Interact with Consumers and request additional information

A Provider may ask the Consumer for additional information and clarifications, through the Platform. For example, in cases where there are large discrepancies in the energy demand estimates calculated from the Consumer module and those declared by the user (actual consumption) and/or any additional and significant building uses not taken into account by the Guide such as for the cases of office buildings (data rooms / centers, cooling units / cooling towers, heat exchangers, Central Air Conditioning Units, etc.) that require more detailed investigation and evaluation, and/or other prerequisite works such as waterproofing, masonry preparation repairs, dismantling of old equipment, access issues to spaces, etc. In addition, at this point it is possible for the Provider to request an inspection in order to prepare a more detailed offer by submitting a relevant availability. Then the Consumer (from the Request side) who is asked to send either in writing or attaching the necessary technical files, more detailed measurements of individual dimensions (in case automatic surface calculation was used), floor number and access/temporary storage of equipment, etc. as well as acceptance of the on-site inspection Request for the given dates and hours of availability (or proposal alternators). The exchange of information can continue at this stage until any open issues and clarifications that may arise from either side are clarified.

Step 4

Agreement for Energy Services

The Provider is now able to review the overall requested services, (including findings from bilaterally arranged on-site inspections and relevant provided information, before deciding on preparing the final offer (official Agreement for Energy Services) and then proceed to contract preparation at a next stage.

Take advantage of the Platform's Provider Module - the Building Energy Saving Calculator - to identify applicable interventions for your property, evaluate the energy and cost saving potential that you can achieve and get personalized proposals for energy saving solutions tailored to your needs.
