How it works

Registration of Consumers is simple through email confirmation. The types of users supported on the Request side of the Marketplace are representatives of the residential or tertiary building sector. In the case of the residential sector, the Platform supports all types and sizes of houses, from a single apartment to a multi apartment building, while in the case of the tertiary sector respectively the facilities supported include typologies ranging from a single office space within a building, or an entire building complex.

The user creates tailored energy saving interventions (Requests) through the Building Energy Saving Calculator - the “Consumer Module”. The tool enables the evaluation of applicable energy projects in terms of their energy saving and economic performance and assist the user to identify the best options. Following successful completion of the Consumer module, the user may submit the created Request to notify possible Providers of relevant Services.

The Consumer gets notified when an offer submitted by Providers active in the region, matches the requested Services and may request additional information regarding the cost of individual works, materials, equipment manufacturer(s), duration and warranty coverage, estimation of duration of works, etc. The exchange of information can continue at this stage until any open issues and clarifications that may arise from either side are clarified.

The Consumer is now able to review the overall detailed specifications and relevant provided information as well as the Provider's reputation (overall review as a firm) and then decide on accepting of the offer (official Agreement for Energy Services) and then proceed to contracting at a next stage.
