The Smart Marketplace for Building Energy Efficiency
BEEM is RAAEY's smart energy marketplace for energy efficiency investments in buildings, bringing together all interested parties within the wider energy efficiency market of Greece, particularly focusing on Consumers (i.e. residential and commercial/ office building owners, individuals, companies) and "Service" Providers (i.e. Energy Service Companies “ESCOs”, contractors/ suppliers of Energy Efficient “EE” equipment and/or services, financiers, etc.).
The main objective is to scale-up the pipeline of energy efficiency projects and accelerate implementation overcoming common market shortcomings through standardisation and aggregation of associated investments as well as mobilisation of and effective coordination between stakeholders. Such investments can be, for example, the installation of or replacement with new – energy-efficient technologies and applications (insulation of building envelope elements, heat pumps, smart systems and automation systems, mechanical ventilation systems, heat recovery, etc.) as well as residential and/or office buildings integrated photovoltaic plants with or without an electricity/ battery storage system “BESS” (and connected to the Distribution Network).
